Volusia County fire officials have two new brush fires to deal with, said Volusia County Fire Services Chief Joseph E. Pozzo at a roadside conference today in Maytown.

Gov. Scott stopped at the Flagler County Emergency Operations Center late this afternoon to thank firefighters for the job they are doing to contain wildfires across the state and to warn residents that they needed to stay vigilant.
