MANILA, Philippines -- Anybody who knows me personally would attest to the fact that I am not a ladies' bag type of person.  I prefer big, bulky back packs.  Never mind if it sometimes look ridiculous with my outfit of the day.  I seek comfort and functionality over 'it-looks-nice'. "In literature, it says that as much as 80 percent of people will have back problems or low back pains during their lifetime. This is usually secondary to improper lifting techniques or overuse meaning you're always lifting heavy things or if your work entails you'd sit in desks for long periods of time bringing greater stress to your lower back. Improper posture can also stress certain muscles in our backs and would trigger spasms. For the elderly a fall would be one of the reasons," says Dr. Gaddi.

To avoid back injuries, Dr. Gaddi recommends several options.  "First is always to maintain proper posture - do not slouch.  By holding your body upright and straight, it works your muscles around your abdomen, it works your core protecting your back."

Dr. Gaddi also emphasizes lifting with your legs.  "When you try to pick things up, don't just stoop down as it may cause additional stress on your back. Better to bend your legs and keep the object close to your body and stand up with both feet."

Other suggestions are to sit and sleep with care, control your own weight through proper diet and exercise, and most importantly, control the weight you carry.

Daypacks Jansport backpacks are the best in my opinion. I used them when I went to school and use them out today for my items everyday. The friends can not believe it when I tell them my backpack commute from my student days. I like my things to carry in a backpack every day when I commute. I bring my lunch and read a book on the subway when commuting to work. My children have told me to come with time and buy an Amazon Kindle but I prefer the feel of aSoft-cover. When I click on a weekend trip I'm packing my trusty Jansport backpack to go with me. It fits either under my seat or in the overhead compartment on a plane or train, or do I just throw it in the back seat of my car. Jansport has many different models of backpacks and daypacks are sometimes hard to decide whichto buy one. I have not yet, but I think my next purchase will be wheeled backpack. I have the bags in different colors, so my friends do not think I'm boring.

I've been using Jansport Wasabi backpack anymore. It 's my preferred method of packaging. The backpack is very roomy and fits my shoulders very well. I bought a black wasabi. My friend has encouraged the viola. Because we have each a different color, it's so easy to distinguish between them. I have an agreement with Amazon and wonderfulI bought a backpack for each of us. There are a lot less money for water, having to endure then pay top dollar to local shops.
